SUMMARY

Responsible for researching and developing ideas and processes for new hose products.
Correspond to various technical request from a customer while cooperating with the development team in
Japan and Italy to get customer agreement of a developed product.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create concepts, performance, and production criteria.
• Negotiate with the development team in Japan and Italy on various technical issues.
•  Negotiate appropriate production processes and provide feedback to development team in Japan.
• Work with Manufacturing Plant Production Engineers in the development of best manufacturing
  practices
• Work with Purchasing and Suppliers to develop best component parts for product design
• Produce final 2D drawings and specifications for assemblies and component parts
• Negotiate with customers for any technical issues.
•  Travel to development base in Japan and Italy to learn development skills.
• Travel to production facilities to evaluate processes.
• Must be motivated, thorough, patient, willing to learn, and can work as a team with other multinational
  team-mates.
• Must have good organizational skills, time-management skills, communication skills, and be
  efficient at completing tasks and reports.

SKILLS:

• Bachelor of Engineering with BSME preferred.
• 3~5 years automotive hose environment preferred, but will consider relevant experience.
• CAD experience in Catia
• Understanding of product drawings and GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
• Bilingual in English and Japanese preferred, but not required.
